It's possible that Rex will become one of the 501st. They hint at that in the first season. Just in case you don't know, all of the stormtroopers in the old trilogy are just dudes except for Darth Vader's 501st, which are the best of the best of the best pick of the clones.
Not sure about Chi-town. I went to C2E2 and I'm not sure if I can handle another weekend bash. Maybe for 1 day. If I go, I'm sure to stop at your table and pick up a Stormtrooper print. I sold my truck, which had 2 stormtroopers stickers in the window so I'll need to pick up another set of those too
