The Comedian is like Capitain America in Watchmen world - look at the star, the flag - and he is the great soldier (but not super).
Like I sayied, in Watchmen universe he was - it's the perfect Moore's way to role Capitain - the most ironic (anti) hero ever created, just begining with his name...
(damn rusty english - Did I'm making understand?)
P.S.: Maybe Capitain didn't anything like this 'cause he stay freeze for so long time - so he didnt had time...
